Updating the ledgers every day does not always happen, however if there is a few days or weeks delay, purchase order update with the date they are updated - not the received date. Therefore this causes differences in the supplier account as to when payments are due unless you manually amend the date but then this means you have to go in to each purchase order seperately to find the received date which is very time consuming
