When using payroll and rolling back any information, we have been told by sage that if we perform two nominal links in one week, the original (incorrect) figures need to be deleted manually by a journal reversal. Surely it would be better if you developed a system whereby if you performed a nominal link for one week then had to post again in the same week due to a correction, it would make sense if accounts came up with a prompt that said 'would you like to override the previous postings for this week?' and gave an option to say yes or no. That would mean that we would not have to check all the submissions at the end of the year and reverse some incorrect transactions.
