if you can't attach project references and cost codes to journals then it renders projects completely pointless and a waste of time as for any company that ever writes journals (which must be pretty much everyone) the project reporting will either be inaccurate as lots of data is missing or you will have to manually enter all the imported journals related to projects as project credits or project charges individually which is twice the work. Particularly infuriating as it has project reference and cost code on the import template and maps them but does not import them.
