Recently, we are consolidating/rationalising our unrestricted funds to become more effective and efficient. I wanted to set up new funds but wanted to start at the next appropriate marker (e.g we have 200+ funds so want to start all the new funds at 300 and tell staff members to ignore the first 200+ codes as they would now be out of use. However, when I set up new funds, it automatically goes to the next sequential number. This would improve accuracy as my team (not all finance) would be able to easily figure out what is out of use and what is not by simply ignore batches of codes.
