We need our sales people to be able to see Customer account details - contact names - activity - credit limit - payment history etc... but not allow them to over ride the account status (Account open - or on stop) so goods cannot be booked on or sell goods without the accounts people allowing the a/c to be "Live"

Because some staff were over-riding the credit limit or ignoring the a/c on stop etc.. to allow goods to be dispatched we had to limit their access, but within the "access rights" it is either all or nothing which is no good and very awkward for the sales guys to work properly - efficiently

So every time a new customer (which is daily) wants to place an order / buy something we have to get someone with access rights to book all the details and open the a/c which is a real pain / time consuming and delays the whole process and also means that the sales staff cannot see any details of the customer as a consequence.

The sales people need to see this information to be able to deal with the customer otherwise they are blind to the customer details.

They should be able to see and able to edit these

• Details -    So they can see - enter or edit customer info (Names - Tel No's emails etc) as they come up
• Defaults -  So they can see info but Not able to alter / edit
• Credit Control - So they can see info but Not able to alter / edit
• Bank - So they can see info but Not able to alter / edit
• Communications - So they can see info but Not able to alter / edit
• Memo - So they can see info but Not able to alter / edit
• Activity - So they can see info but Not able to alter / edit
• Sales - So they can see info but Not able to alter / edit
• Orders - So they can see info but Not able to alter / edit
• Projects  - We don't use this so not so no problem for us either way
• Graphs - We don't use this so no problem for us either way

Can you advise if this fix is possible as quite an important issue and must effect other users exactly the same as us?.
