Amend the installer to allow updates to be installed without requiring admin rights

Hi,

I do IT support for a firm of financial advisers and we have our network etc set up so that the users don't have admin rights on their machines.

We have 50 - 60 staff and and we use Sage 50 extensively in house and also have clients sending us backups of their data for us to use to prepare accounts etc.

When installing a new version of Sage or any updates then I need to physically go around every machine to enter admin credentials which takes up my time doing it and also has logistics issues making sure everyone is updated at the same time.

Is there any way that the installer can be changed to NOT require admin rights when installing any updates to Sage?

I appreciate that admin rights are probably needed to allow the initial install of the program to be done so that it can be accessed by all users, and to be able to create certain folders as part of the install etc, but once it's up and running then could the updates not be installed as a normal user?

Thanks

Ross
