Sage should have the option to create stock location sites for vehicles within a business that
carry stock. ie Delivery vans, Technicians, Sales reps and so forth.
If a tech goes out to a customer, stock is transferred out to the
van and is transferred out when the invoice is created. this functionality
or feature makes stock control and stock take so much easier.
I've used this functionality in SAP, QAD and other small business platforms in other businesses and it has made a world of difference.
This could even be a paid feature as an addon.
Its something Sage should seriously consider, as with all businesses I've worked for in 30 years - this has always been a requirement.
I know there are software developers that have created this feature as a extension of Sage, but with limitations.
Sage developers can easily over come these limitations as it will be written into the software within its perimeters.
