The requirement is to have copies or access to VAT Invoices for 6 years.
At the moment, when you archive a company year within Sage, Sage removes all URL references to external Autoentry documents. As the line entry attachment is an external URL, the overhead to retain this should be minimal in terms of archive/backup size.
It would be helpful to retain the URLs for Sales/Purchase Invoices within the archive to combat the requirement to be able to produce copies for up to 6 years. It would also reduce admin requests to Autoentry for a bulk download of approved invoices. It will also aid companies moving to paperless record keeping.
