Remote Data Access Setup for multiple companies at one go on Sage 50

Good Day All,

With version 28, 29 and above we have started making use of Remote Data Access tun companies remotely and give access to customer from outside their server environment. We have customers who use Sage 50 for their business itself, and we have accountants and server providers who use Sage 50 for several customers in terms of accounting.

It is a huge inconvenience with Sage 50 Remote Data Access when creating and setting up remote access, this must be done on a per company basis and cannot just link and Sage cloud account and CTRL+A for all the companies on the list to be enabled.

The setup process is quite long and time consuming;

1: Enable remote data access on the company (using the manager account first as a company owner)

2: Create users, and setup a passphrase

3: Create a Sage account online for users, then send an invite

4: Login with the customer account and choose the company

5: Enter the passphrase and credentials for the company to be downloaded & synced locally

6: Repeat all the steps above for all the companies which need to be connected to Remote Data Access services.

Instead we have to do them all one at a time. It really wastes a lot of time in setting it up. We have customers using over 200 companies on Sage and for remote access the setup is on a per company basis.

Please let us know if this will ever be added in the near future.
