When you upload a Fixed Asset Register (FAR) using the Sage Import Template there is no Depreciation to Date Column, so when the asset register is uploaded and you run the period end depreciation wizard, it does not then calculate the Depreciation to date, nor can you once the FAR has been imported, change the tab with the Depreciation to Date as it greyed out. So you either need to add a Depreciation to Date column in the FAR Import Template or you need to make it so that we can edit the Depreciation to Date box in the FA record. So if you then write off an asset the accumulated Depreciation is incorrect, meaning the posting Wizard is incorrect. I am now going to have to manually re input the whole asset register which will take me days.
