It is very easy to create a quotation as a sales order by accident. The ability to correct this error (even if only at administrator level) would be invaluable. One cannot overcome this issue currently and has to make some sort of reference on the Sales order in the hope that it does not get allocated or despatched. Either that or one has to cancel the sales order completely and restart the process.
