Is it possible to link products in sage 50? If 1 item is out of stock it would be great if it was possible to suggest a linked alternative to avoid missed sales etc. I imagine this would be a very useful tool for lots of customers.
Another function that would be very beneficial would be the capacity to change cost price and selling price in the one screen when generating a purchase order or adjusting goods in (rather than having to go in and out of each product record to do so). Brexit and Covid combined have caused significant landed cost increases for us and we cannot absorb them so must increase the selling prices as we go to protect margin. At the moment, however, I have to insert the new cost prices in the PO or Adjustment In screens and keep a note of the affected products so I can then go back and change the selling price one by one later on - it is hugely more time consuming than it needs to be and I have spoken to several users who feel the same way. Is this something that could be included in a future version of Sage 50?
