This makes a complete mockery of all the security surrounding passwords in Sage 50. This has been an ongoing issue for years. How is it not solved yet?!
It's worse than that, unless you have at least one user and password of the archive you cannot access the data within the archive - not very helpful if all of the staff at the time have moved on in the intervening time!
The logical solution would be to use the current logins and passwords, with a permission to access archived data added.
