The only version Sage sells with a charities fund accounting option is Sage 50 Accounting.
Guess what; this version is not eligible for the Sage foundation discounted pricing.
So the only charities version is not eligible for charity discount.
Please can someone reconsider this ridiculous situation.
We are already having to put up with the charities fund option lacking very important / essential features. Which increases our admin costs as a result.
Please help by allowing charities to take use of your charities scheme.
Having only used Sage in a Charity setting, I must admit that I find it very lacking (but then again, I've got nothing with which to compare it). I've all but given up with the internal reports and rely heavily on exported data - we did look at trying to use some of its features a couple of years ago, but in comparison to the work arounds I've created, it was too much hassle.
The problem is that it only a passing nod seems to have been done to add the fund accounting, doing the bare minimum.
