Current Situation
Using the quote module:
Quotes cannot be searched
Reports cannot be made
Cannot 'skip' to letter or number based on order
Using the sales module:
A self made filter needs to be applied / removed depending on whether you want to include quotes in the Sales module
Reports automatically include quotes unless the filter has been applied
You have to use the Sales module to search quotes
You have to use the Sales module to generate quote reports
Problem with the current method
It is not streamlined - wastes time
It is open to mistakes and can be confusing to some users.
Just one example: I generated a report, intending to only show sales, I forgot that I hadn't applied the filter to remove quotes and spent 2 and a half wasted hours analysing sales - this then became unuseable and will have to do this again.
Suggestions
Design the Quotes module to be layed out similarly to the Sales module, allowing reports, search etc.
Quotes to be automatically hidden from the Sales module
A toggle button on the Sales module to allow quotes on the list (preferably highlighted if allowed and 'normal' if removed)
