There is no ability within Sage to search for test that has been added to various lines, specificallt within invoices and purchases orders. Only the description line of any entry is searchable, comment line 1 and 2 are invisibe once entered.
I record serial numbers and notes for sold products on these lines, and being able to look those up again is essential. Previously I would use the output to OneDrive to automatically drop named and filed copies of invoices and PO's into the filesystem. From there I could seach the documents. Since this has been removed from Sage, I have to manually export every invoice and PO to be able to search for this data again.

I can't even search Details text in a service invoice. I add a car registration number in the Detail of every line, but it still doesn't come back in a search. The only things I can retrieve are: Customer Order No., Address, Delivery Address and Customer Order Details (phone no., etc.).
It would be extremely useful to be able to search the details of each line on a service invoice which I used to be able to do with QuickBooks.
