Imagine you have one supplier that provides 50 products that you then sell to customers. They implement a 5% increase that you want to pass on when selling. The quickest way to do this appears to be importing product records over the top of all the existing ones for that supplier with new prices increased by 5%.
But if prices on Price Lists to customers are set as as the 'fixed' method, their prices won't update. At the moment, if you want to change that method from fixed to a % of sale or cost price, you would have to import or create a new price list (one where the 'fixed' number is actually the pre-determined % you want) However you would still then have to open up the Price List, click in and out of each product, and check the box on each from the fixed method to the percentage method.
Would it be possible to allow selecting all the products on a Price List and changing them all at once? It would certainly save me personally a lot of time. I currently have 548 price lists, one for each customer. All are set to the fixed method (importing was the quickest way to get started with SAGE and imports only allow the fixed method) each with somewhere between 50 and 3000 products on them. I have a lot of monotonous clicking ahead of me!
