It would be very useful if the narrative from the bank statement is brought through to the details section in Sage, when a posting is made in Bank Feeds, based on a Bank Feed Rule.
For example, a DD to Vodafone. I set this up as a Bank Rule, but when Sage posted the transaction based on the Bank Rule I had set up, there was no mention of Vodafone in the posted transaction and so I entered it manually. Sage had brought 'Vodafone Ltd' through in the reference box within the Bank Feeds top left window.
There is the option within Bank Rules to put a reference and I had put DD, to indicate direct debit, which is how I usually use the Ref box on Sage. For the time being, I shall put 'DD - Vodafone' in this reference box, but it would be much better if the bank statement narrative could be brought through automatically and posted in the details section on Sage.
