Automatic allocation of stock

This would stop issues of us overselling stock and our customers would have a clearer view of the stock levels we have/don't have. Anyone who uses sage for SOP would find this useful to keep stock levels accurate.

We have WooCommerce and Sage50 with WebDataLink by Holbi inbetween doing the integration. For us the settings are in the DataLink to set what you describe. We do not have to allocate any stock, sales orders automatically created and set to dispatched and invoices posted to the ledger. when the orders come down from the shop the stock level is automatically reduced.

When orders come from our website, the stock is not automatically allocated therefore the stock levels remain unchanged. If an order was allocated automatically when it hit sage, this would mean stock levels would be accurate. And since our website pulls stock info from sage, it would mean our website would also be accurate with stock levels. We currently have to allocate the orders manually but in our peak season, when there are so many orders we sometimes sell out of stock because the website thinks that there is more stock than there actually is - because the orders aren't allocated. This is particularly difficult over night and weekends when we are not available to allocate them as often. This would save us time each day not having to allocate each order individually. This definately used to be an option and must have been removed at an update along the years.
