It would be extremely useful to make a copy of the "Customer Receipt" and "Supplier Payment" icons and title them "Allocate Existing Receipts" and "Allocate Existing Payments". It makesĀ little sense to click on customer receipt or supplier payment in order to allocate an existing transaction as you aren't creating a new receipt or payment. Having a dedicated allocate button would be ideal however if implemented, the ability to enter a posting date that overrides the date on an existing transaction on the system needs to be removed. It's far too easy to enter today's date when allocating an existing transaction which then overrides the original posting date of the existing transaction!!!
