I use ALT codes all the time within my line of work and they used to work within the old version of Sage but not within the new version.
For those who don't know, ALT codes are ° ã ╝ etc and are only accessible by holding down the ALT key on your keyboard and then typing three or four numbers.
Having discussed this with Sage support, it turns out that the ALT function is now hardwired into the new Sage system so you can't use any of the ALT codes.
The only way to use them is to type them somewhere else (in fact anywhere else as they work everywhere seemingly APART from in Sage 50 (i.e Google Chrome, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer etc etc), then copy/paste them into Sage.
This seems to be a fairly large oversight.
