We currently analyse the costs of each project using spreadsheets which involves essentially inputting the same data that is in Sage.
We don't want each Contracts Manager to be able to access projects of another Manager or any previous projects from past years. Also, having access to all projects would give Contracts Manager the opportunity to extract the company's account data (such as turnover and profit) which is sensitive in real time.
If we were able to restrict to just their projects by user which could be set up by the manager on Sage, they would no longer have to run a spreadsheet (which would halve our workload) and would give them all of the information they would need per project and their project performance as a whole.
