Adds an extra layer of authorisation when users log in to prevent third parties accessing data, even if a username or password has accidentally been shared.
Password security came up as an audit point for us this year. The password security for Sage is very poor. You can even set your data account to not require a password at all! We urgently need 2FA and a mandatory change of password which is a complex password to cover the data not just the Sage account ID log in!!!
This is a waste of time until they sort out accessing archive data using current passwords rather than having to use that of a user at time the archive was created
They do not even have a password complexity requirement in place. Your password can simply be one character "a". They need to add the complexity requirement as well as MFA.
All finance data is sitting there relying on end user's ability to set a strong password.
I was quite surprised that this isn't already an option. MFA can be enabled on the MySage portal login, but not on the actual application used to get access to the financial data 🤷♂️.

Cyber security is crucial in this day and age, suprised Sage haven't considered it
